Our Services

Lawn Care programs

If you are a home owner or a business owner, a lush green lawn can provide significant curb appeal to your property. Lawnology lawn care programs are designed to "spoon feed" your lawn throughout the growing season creating a thick healthy lawn that you and your family will enjoy.

Our traditional lawn care program includes

  • Spring pre-emergent applications to control broadleaf and grassy weeds.
  • Spring and fall post-emergent applications to control broadleaf and grassy weeds.
  • Slow release fertilizer applications designed for different seasons.
  • Surface and subsurface insect control.
  • Management of nutsedge and other hard to control lawn weeds.
  • Reduced and responsible pesticide use to protect our ecosystems.

We also offer supplemental or add on services that can be combined with a traditional lawn care program.

  • Preventative and curative lawn disease treatments.
  • Lawn aeration with overseeding, performed in the late summer through early fall only.
  • Soil testing when nutrient deficiencies or pH issues are suspected.
  • Supplemental applications to correct soil deficiencies

Plant health care

Plant health care involves developing and maintaining the health of your trees and shrubs. Trees and shrubs are living assets that require proper care and management. See our list of Plant Health Care services below to get a better idea of what we can offer your trees and shrubs.

  • Various insect, mite and disease treatments for trees and shrubs.
  • Deer repellents to protect valuable shrubs.
  • Liquid tree and shrub fertilization, which can be custom blended to add beneficial fungi, beneficial bacteria, organic matter, and micro nutrients for added benefits.
  • Airspade service for alleviating soil compaction to improve rooting or for trenching near tree roots or to mitigate root damage after construction activities.

Tick control

Ticks are a serious problem for us Dutchess County residents, but it does not have to be that way. Your exposure to ticks on your property can be significantly reduced by having one spring and one fall treatment in the areas of your property where ticks live and are waiting for a host. We also offer tick tubes, which targets the ticks getting a blood meal from mice. Since mice are a primary reservoir for the bacteria that causes lyme disease, killing the ticks found on these rodents will reduce the presence of lyme disease carrying ticks.
